Drought-resisting plants

With the cost of Water and energy rising and the global temperature rising it seems logical to imagine that plants will suffer. We hope this list Helps you to define your needs and plant the right plants for your garden. We have noticed a decrease in rain to some degree, We get less incidence of rain but more volume when it does rain. It washes over the plants to quickly and also erodes topsoil. Plant more Drought tolerant plants, shrubs, trees, to make sure you always have sometinhg looking good in the dry parts of your garden.

Below is a list of plants that can resist drought. These plants only become drought resisting once they are established, and will need careful watering until they do so. Also, bear in mind that the smaller the plant the more drought resisting it is; so always plant small specimens rather than more mature ones. Let them grow into the new environment. With the climate changing as quickly as it seems to be More and more demand is being generated for drought resistant plants. Also with people having less leisure time a built in redundancy over fail factors has to be planned into gardens. Also think of the money you can save on water bills.

Key to the list. If they have a link then they are in stock or carried by us.

We can source almost anything you need so email us if you have a list that is not available directly on our site.
