Abelia x grandiflora Aurea

All yellow golden foliage and a profusion of white flowers (scented) from midsummer to autumn make this evergreen the ideal choice for a sunny border. Clip into shape every so often to keep it nice and help produce more flower buds.

Height: 150cm (5ft).

Position: Will thrive in most well-drained soils but needs a sheltered, sunny site.

Planting: Water thoroughly or stand container in water for an hour before planrting. Plant in hole large enough to avoid disturbing root ball. Back-fill with soil previously mixed with peat substitute and a suitable fertilizer.

Plant Care: Protect from cold winds and frost in harsh winters. Cut back shoots lightly after flowering to improve shape.
